Sophie Balshaw

Sophie started her humble beginnings as sales & marketing assistant at her family manufacturing business in Bolton. Over the next 17 years, she rose through the ranks, proving herself in a male-dominated industry, eventually becoming a co-owner and Marketing & HR Director.

During her time at the company, Sophie helped scale the business from £1 million to £8 million in revenue — led the sales and marketing strategy, secured major contracts, and built a culture that she describes as loyal & strong. She says “My biggest achievement wasn’t the multi-million-pound record years, it was making all 80 staff feel at home — I know I did that exceptionally well.”

After nearly two decades of growth, grit, and giving it her all, she felt the pull to start something new, and in July 2025 launched sophiebalshaw.com. A purpose-driven platform fuelled by Sophie’s infectious energy, deep-rooted sales expertise, and genuine passion for helping others grow in business, marketing, and self-development.

She says “I am incredibly passionate about growth and working with individuals and businesses who are ready to evolve. This is my most rewarding work yet — helping people grow with clarity, lead with confidence, and step into their next level of success.”
